ABOUT DRAGON ROSE
Stories That Feel
Like Your Own Life
The Dragon Rose Project creates meaningful storytelling experiences that connect people through authentic narratives. From intimate community-led performances to large-scale theatrical productions, we believe in the power of stories to spark reflection, foster dialogue, and create lasting human connections.
Our work invites audiences to engage with stories that resonate beyond the stage. Whether through moments of joy, introspection, empathy, or shared memory, each experience is designed to leave people with a deeper understanding of themselves, others, and the world around them.
Rooted in real events, lived experiences, and artistic integrity, The Dragon Rose Project has spent over a decade creating both community-driven initiatives and ambitious productions across India. Guided by the vision of founder Devika Shahani, our work spans commemorative performances, original theatre, cultural programming, and large-scale productions that bring meaningful stories to diverse audiences.
"The Dragon Rose Project tells the stories we live — building community through honest, human narratives."
FOUNDER & PRODUCER

FOUNDER'S NOTE
On Culture, Community & Creating
I started The Dragon Rose Project, inspired by my mentor Daisaku Ikeda, who believed in the power of Culture. I loved being a performer, but as I grew, I realized that the process of building teams who can create the magic was exciting and powerful.
As my own vision evolves and changes and grows, I really want the company to create and develop many pieces of dance, music, theatre and eventually film, that will leave a lasting impact, and help us build a border-free world through the power of what only human beings can do.
The power of culture.
